TIARA, the Thousand Islands Area Residents' Association, is proud to present a unique set of three maps:
PLAN OF THE CANADIAN ISLANDS IN THE RIVER ST. LAWRENCE
These maps cover the Canadian 1000 Islands from the foot of Howe Island to below Jones Creek - a distance of over 26 miles of the scenic and historic St. Lawrence River. Intensive research has turned up hundreds of names - official names, local names, family names, old names, brand new names...and this is the first time that all these names have ever been collected onto one set of maps. They are all there - as well as the names of many points, bays, creeks and villages - either on the maps or in a meticulously cross-referenced index. Bound up in these hundreds of names are all the lore and legends of this very special area, the 1000 Islands. The set contains three maps, each 22" x 34":
